Introduction
I will be traveling to Turkey as part of my summer PDT between my AS300 and 400 years in Air Force ROTC. I will be gone for close to two weeks in Istanbul with fifteen other cadets and one cadre member.
This PDT is a ‘cultural immersion’ program where our group will be visiting and taking in the many sites the beautiful country of Turkey has to offer.
My flight leaves tomorrow morning at 0540 from Will Rogers World Airport to Detroit where I switch planes and begin the second leg to JFK. I’ll have a four hour layover there until my flight to Istanbul leaves at 1600.
