Bogazíçí Üníversíteí
It was another busy day in Istanbul today. Our group continued to work on our Turkish skills and interact with the local people with some success. Here was our itinerary:-Woke up at 0700 and ate breakfast at the hotel
- Had our second Turkish lesson and lecture, this time over the history of the Turkish people
- Drove across the Golden Horn to Bosphorus University (Bogazíçí Üníversíteí) and toured campus
- Had lunch at nearby restaurant with BU students who are studying English (rice, mushrooms, chicken, cola)
- Private cruise on the Bosphorus River (between Asia and Europe) and saw the many mosques, homes, and palaces from the water
- Revisited Istiklal Cad and bought a Fenerbahçe soccer jersey with the help of Tuna (one of our guides)
- Dinner along street (döner, fanta, rice, ice cream)
- Took train back to hotel
