Sultanahamet and military museum
- Woke up at 1100, slept in because of weekend
- Visited Turkish Military Museum. Saw armor, cannon, history of Turkish warefare. Saw history of Istanbul invasion of 1453.
- Lunch at restaurant nearby (salad, watermelon, chicken, rice, potatoes, puffy bread)
- Shopping in streets along the Bosphorus, had kemsa ice cream
- Took train with Liz and Phil to Sultanahamet and had corn from vendors. Had dinner (spagetti, meat sauce, bread, coke, cheese, cookie)
- Took very crowded train to hotel. Saw news of explosion(?) in Istanbul not that much info. Possibly gas leak or terror. Very sad news.
